Breakfast was ready right at 6AM which was important as we only had 15 minutes to eat. The following morning everyone got up at 5AM, and we made our way out to the lobby for breakfast at 6AM. There were no major issues with the room apart from the bathroom sinks being part of the room (right across from the beds). I like the 80s, but I like my hotels updated and fresh. Finally got to the room after 10PM and there were no great shocks, but the room felt tired and dated. There was another traveling party that came in with us who were catching the same flight to Cabo, and the front desk clerk created a special shuttle time for us (6:15AM instead of the regular time on the half hour). Since we arrived so late, the shuttles in the morning were already booked up. The front desk clerk took a copy of our itinerary and said she would follow up in the morning when Delta Vacations opened. The front desk tried contacting Delta Vacations and unfortunately they were closed for the night. Had an issue at check-in as Delta Vacations did not provide payment to the hotel. A bit of a negative as we had a lot of bags and it goes to the "facility needs updating" theme. You had to pull open and prop open the doors which I haven't seen in a long time. We arrived at the hotel - one thing that stood out to me was the fact there was no automatic door at the entrance. We contacted the hotel and the shuttle came about 20 minutes later which met expectations. The flight arrived a little late and by the time we got our bags, it was pushing 9:30PM. We were put up in this hotel by Delta Vacations as the flight schedules changed and we had to spend the night in SLC to catch our flight to Cabo the following day.
